Beautiful Creatures

As a class, we redesigned the 2013 movie Beautiful Creatures. My design focused on themes of good and evil shown through the film; more is explained in my visual concept. We designed two sets, one on a sound stage, which we then drafted, and the other from a measured location. We also created a white model from the drafting measurements for the sound stage set; I also chose to light mine.

Both sets were created on SketchUp and rendered in Vray. The drafting sheet was completed with LayOut for SketchUp. The model was made out of white foam, cardstock, and an acetate sheet.
